Mood Foods

FOOD can cause people to be in different moods. For example, some kinds of food can cause people to be happy, while others can cause them to be energetic. Here are four examples of how food can change people’s moods:
Example 1:
In Britain, many people go to bars or nightclubs in the evening. After a good drinking a lot of beer, some drunken people may start fighting each other without knowing. Therefore, street violence had been a great problem in Britain. Instead of deploying thousands of police, some English people decided to use a mood food: chocolate. Chocolate would make people feel happy and wanting to dance. This is because it contains a chemical called trictifan, which is found in most carbohydrate foods. After testing, this theory proved to be correct, and chocolate bars were often handed to people on the street at night.
Example 2:
In our daily life, we may encounter “waves” of stress. Sometimes, we may feel depressed or unhappy. Some dieticians think that cutting and adding certain foods can minus the stress and depression levels. Here is some advice:
1. Cut eating on bread or toast. They can make you feel depressed and unhappy.
2. Eat more vegetables that are organic, fish and fruit. They can minus your stress levels.
3. Eat some more protein rich foods too. They can sharpen your senses and make you concentrate.
These foods can make you feel less depressed and help you develop a more relaxed life.
Example 3:
In competition, people need to sharpen up their senses to get good levels or marks. As mentioned, protein rich foods can make people alert. Two British chess champions made a test. On the first day, one of them ate a protein rich beef dish, while the other ate pasta that is full of trictifan. After lunch, they played a chess match. The one who ate the pasta was not able to concentrate as well as his opponent, and soon found that he was losing. Just in time, he created a draw. However, the test is not over yet. The next day, the two exchanged dishes. Now, the one that had eaten the pasta yesterday was now playing better. He almost reached checkmate when the time ran out. It was another draw, but this test proved that protein rich foods are also mood foods.
Example 4:
When two lovers come together, they usually go for a romantic dinner. Here is a recommendation:
Appetizer: Oysters Rockefeller (with zinc, associated with love).
Main Course: Grilled Tuna (protein-rich food, sharpen up senses for long night).
Dessert: strawberries with honey and chocolate (chocolate makes people happy, while honey is an energy booster, just right for a long night).

All of these four examples show that how certain kinds of food can influence people. And all of these foods are .
